She was predeceased by: her parents, Gussie Kimball Buckner and Roy Lee Buckner; her siblings, Michael Buckner, David Midgett, Bill Bevil, Felix Whitehurst and Donna Whitehurst; and her nephew Grant Buckner.
She is survived by: her husband Douglas "Doug" Griffin; her daughters, Abby Hines Dunn (Ross) and Sarah Rose Wester (Adam); her stepdaughter Amanda Griffin Pridgen (David); her grandchildren, Tilly Joy Dunn, Presley Pridgen and Griffin Pridgen; and her siblings, Larry Buckner (Ruth), Sandy Bevil, Steve Midgett (Lynn) and Karen Midgett. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
