He is survived by: his wife Claudia Bowden; his sons, Jared Heath Bowden (Kristi) of Chapel Hill and Justin Ray Bowden (Callie) of Myrtle Beach, SC.; his grandchildren, Savannah, Jamie, Jack, Ava and Nolan Bowden; his sisters, Barbara Toretta, Dianne Bowden, Sandra Wood (Sherwood) and Lynn Morgan (Stephen); his in-law Brenda; and his friend Roy Bunn of Montana. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
