He was predeceased by: his parents, Boldie Owen Bobbitt, Sr. and Mary Viola Lewis Bobbitt; and his siblings, Earlene Bobbitt Phillips, Jean Bobbitt Aycock, Boldie Owen Bobbitt, Jr., Walton Henry Bobbitt and Lt. Bert Arnold Bobbitt.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Leslie Bobbitt; his children, Donald Lewis "Donnie" Bobbitt, Jr. (Lisa) and Dianna Bobbitt Messenger; and his grandchildren, Turner Bobbitt, Harrison Bobbitt, Emery Messenger and Griffin Messenger. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and good friends.
