She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Archie Pitt and Mary Christine Pollard Pitt. She is survived by: her husband Kermit "Rudy" Johnson; her grandchildren, Wyatt Edward and Audrey Marie; her sister Margaret Ellen Pitt Prout (Lloyd); and her niece Deidre Prout of Winston Salem.

Because of Covid 19, the family requests that everyone respect their wishes and wear masks and practice social distancing.
