She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelton Bernice Smith and Alma Estelle Daniel Smith; her husband Robert Junior Batts; her son Robert Shelton Batts; and her siblings, Rose W. Bellamy and Stanley F. Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Shane Batts of Littleton, Anthony Batts (Deana) of Elm City and Denise Batts (Tina) of Littleton; and her daughter-in-law Pam Batts of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
