It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elwood Norris Hardison (Rocky Mount, North Carolina), who passed away on September 6, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Lamb Hardison and Emma Jane Dunn; and his siblings, Lucille Horrell, Dollie Harper, Clarence Hardison, Thomas Hardison, Matthew Hardison and Homer Clyde Hardison.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Hardison; his sons, Steven Hardison (John Patterson) and Mark Hardison; his great-nieces, Fayth, Skylar and Delilah; and his nephews, Dale, Freddy, Brad, Steven and Christopher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
