She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Percy "J. P." Lewis and Viola Elizabeth Bland Lewis; her husband Cedric Lamont Gibson; and her siblings, Wesley "Buddy" Lewis, Thurman Earl "Sam" Lewis, Arthur Eugene "Buck" Lewis, Frances Jordan, Nannie "Sis" Harrell, Tucker Griffin, Nadine Fisher and Peggy Ashcroft.
She is survived by: her brother W. F. "Billy" Lewis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
