He is survived by: his wife Judy Batchelor Joyner; his children, Julie Joyner, Frances Richardson (Dammian), Kenneth "Buck" Joyner of Rocky Mount and Jason Lamm; his siblings, Emma Joyner of Nashville, William Ray Joyner (Becky) of Rocky Mount and David Carl "Rooster" Joyner of Pinetops; his sisters-in-law, Becky Joyner of Rocky Mount and Pearl Pridgen of Rocky Mount; his grandchildren, Kyle (Marcal), Kasey, Quay, Destiny and Reya; and his nephew Garry Wayne Pridgen (Anna) of Rocky Mount.
