He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Henry Farmer and Dora Wallace Farmer; his wife Patricia Ann Taylor Farmer; his son Mark Farmer; his sisters, Barbara Clark (Charles) and Joyce Bridgers (Roger); and his siblings-in-law, Earl Taylor, Rachel Daughtridge and Anne Taylor.
He is survived by: his children, Hank Farmer (Robin) and Leigh Ann Farmer; his grandchildren, Taylor Farmer Lancaster (Jes), Luke Farmer (Kristen) and Sydney Farmer; his great grandchildren, KaraLynn Lancaster and Jesse Lancaster; and his brother-in-law Charles Daughtridge.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1130 N Winstead Ave, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home (1130 N Winstead Ave, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). A burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Rocky Mount Memorial Park (4454 Dortches Blvd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804).
