She is survived by: her children, Diane M. Roberts of Ahoskie, Sele R. Mitchell, Jr. (Jeanean) of Snow Hill and Tom Mitchell (Ellen) of Scotland Neck; her grandchildren, Jeremy Roberts of Ahoskie, Josh Roberts (Amy) of Ahoskie, Jason Mitchell of Los Angeles, CA, Donald Pilgreen (Sue Anne) of Greenville, April Ladd (John) of Goldsboro and Karen Keeter (David) of Enfield; and her nieces, Barbara Barath, Eleanor Smith and Annie Smith. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.
