With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Richardson of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, born in Halifax, North Carolina, who passed away on September 14, 2020 at the age of 72. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Delmar Small and Jenny Bell Terry; her daughter Cherie Denise Small; and her siblings, Willie Delmar Small, Lee Arthur Small, Joseph Small, Otis Small, James Henry Small, Mary Ruth Batchelor and Hattie Bell Small.

She is survived by: her children, Bronda Richardson of Rocky Mount, James Eric Richardson (Porsche) of Rocky Mount and Constance McMillan (Rashaun) of Nashville, NC; her grandchildren, Jeremy, Jessica, Lakeisha, Taneisha, Faith, Alexis, Amare, Erica and Aaliyah; her great grandchildren, Chasity, Chamya, Jahmere, Carmen and Brayden; and her siblings, Betty Richardson of Nashville, Cathy Richardson (Woodrow) of Nashville, Eliza Davis (McKinley) of Stafford, Virginia and Dennis Small (Phyllis) of Knightdale, NC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
