She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Shearin and Lannie Wilkins Shearin; her husband Elbert Eugene Taylor; and her son Ronald "Ronnie" Taylor. She is survived by: her siblings, Barbara Berry of Williamsburg, VA, Charlie Shearin (Jan) of Elm City, Margaret Shearin West of Nashville, Tony Shearin (Shirley) of Lake Gaston and David Shearin (Vicki) of Las Vegas, NV; her nephew Roger Newsome; and her brother-in-law Ray Taylor (Jean) of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other extended relatives.
