With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Flora Davis Brinkley (Rocky Mount, North Carolina), who passed away on April 18, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Thomas Davis and Eula Morris Williams Davis; her husband William "Billy" Thomas Brinkley, Jr.; her sisters, Betty Davis (Bobby) and Shirley Jean Davis Flood (Ronnie); and her great grandchild Adler Chilton.
She is survived by: her children, Michael "Mike" Davis Brinkley (Sue) and Debra "Debbie" Brinkley Chilton (Rick); her grandchildren, Lane Chilton, Julie Hill (Mark), Dave Brinkley (Tracey) and Brad Chilton (Emily); her great grandchildren, Marlie Hill, Brinkley Hill (Sara), Nolan Hill, Bella Hill, Travis Brinkley, Tiffany Brinkley and Landor Chilton; her siblings, Bobby Ernest Davis (Ann) and Peggy Davis Ethridge; and her close friend Jewel Williams. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Flora's memory to Memorial Baptist Church, 5399 Old Wilson Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27801.
