As Gene departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gene may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gene leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Harboard Arnold and Bessie Pittman Arnold; and his son Michael "Lee" Arnold. He is survived by: his wife Lynne Shannon Arnold; his children, Lisa Davis Sullivan and Gene Grey Arnold, II; his grandchildren, Michael "Lee" Arnold, II and Olivia Krissin Arnold; and his great grandchildren, Jax Hand and Ryver Naccarato.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Gene's memory to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 301 S. Circle Drive, Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
