He is survived by: his wife Alfreda Battle; his son Jaquell Cabbagestalk of Sharpsburg; and his siblings, Nathaniel Battle of Rocky Mount, Curtis Battle of Hyattsville, Maryland, Dorothy Cotton of Rocky Mount, Mary Powell of Maryland, Adine Sander of Maryland, Odell Williams of Washington, D. C. and Jessie Lee Battle of Greenbelt, Maryland. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hemby-Willoughby Mortuary, Inc. (1800 Western Blvd, Tarboro, NC 27886). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hickory View Missionary Baptist Church (3911 Bulluck School Road, Rocky Mount, NC 27801).
