Whitehurst of Rocky Mount; his siblings, Rebecca "Becky" Phelps (Kenny Tyndall) of Rocky Mount, Greg Whitehurst (Sheryl) of Fuquay-Varina, Robert Whitehurst (Julie) of Rocky Mount and Scott Whitehurst of Rocky Mount; his grandchildren, Jonathan, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Lydia, Hannah, David Williamson, Nathan, Kenzi Cobb, Keileigh, Zane, Ada Williams, Cindell, Emerson Watson, Devin and Miranda; and his close friend Gloria Boykin. He is also survived by friends and extended relatives.
