He is survived by: his son Gregory D. Joyner; his sister Sharon Joyner; and his nieces and nephews, Janie Blackman, Kathy Joyner, Niecy Westray, Coretta Joyner, Rudy Joyner, David Bussey and Herbert Joyner III. He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews and a host of friends.
