It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay Joyner of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, who passed away on November 6, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Joyner and Peggy Joyner; and his sister Jackie Joyner Langley. He is survived by: his son William Daughtry Joyner, III; his sisters, Ellen Joyner Taylor, Janice Joyner Lewis, Paula Joyner and Ann Joyner Payne (Carl); and his aunts, Audrey Thompson and Barbara Jean.
