With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeannie Ezzell Ruffin of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, who passed away on July 13, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Patrick and Mamie Mears Ezzell; her stepson Johnnie Mack Ruffin, Jr.; and her husband Johnnie "Mack" Ruffin. She is survived by: her children, Allen Dunn (Sandi) and Lori Ruffin Edmondson (John); her sister-in-law Karen Ezzell of Rocky Mount; her grandchildren, Kaleb Edmondson, Noah Edmondson (Kylie Carnahan), Emily Edmondson (Andrew Patrick), Tommy Ruffin (Tracey) and Joe Ruffin (Lauren); her great grandchildren, Karsyn, Karli, J. T. Ruffin, Addison Scott, Mack Ruffin and Gracen Edmondson; and her close friend Linda Ruffin. She is also survived by friends, nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
