He is survived by: his children, Jerry Alton Adams, Jr. (Shari), Sherry Adams Hunt (Scott), Kayley Allyson Brantley and Kim Bridgers; his grandchildren, Thomas Bridgers (Erin), Brittany Adams, Brandon Scott Hunt (Nellie) and Tyler Adam Hunt; and his sister Barbara Anne Tippette. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home (1130 N Winstead Ave, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home (1130 N Winstead Ave, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). A burial will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Adams Family Cemetery (3518 Taylor's Store Rd, Nashville, NC 27856).
