He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Gordon Davis and Mamie Mae Hall Davis; and his siblings, Glenwood Davis, McClellan Hall Davis, Raymond Elwood "Babe" Davis, Freddie Brewer Davis, Iris Davis Cassidy, Mary Davis Gentry and Janie Catherine Scherer.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Dunn Dasher Davis of Rocky Mount; and his sister Patsy Davis Deitrich of Robesonia, PA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and good friends.
