She was predeceased by: her father Dewey Willis Sr.; and her brothers, Randy James Willis and Dewey Willis Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Kristian Cavenaugh of Rocky Mount, Charles Keith Leasure of Rocky Mount and Bradley Leasure of Rocky Mount; her mother Nina Corbett of Newport; her stepfather Mike Corbett of Newport; her sister Mary Lynn Willis of Harkers Island; her nephew Randy James Willis II of Newport; and her niece Crystal Lynn Clayton of Beaufort. She is also survived by two granddaughters and three grandsons.

“I am so sorry to learn about the death of Jessie! She was the head room mother for my kindergarten class when Bradley was in my class and she was WONDERFUL! I still have pictures of the class and Mrs. Leasure was a devoted parent and room mother, planning fun games and great food. We became friends and I would bring her a vanilla milkshake from the Cookout when I would visit her at Hunter Hill. She loved her children, grandchildren and her thoughtful mother in law!
