He is survived by: his wife Julie Cooper Elms; his children, Jennifer Ralston (Grant), David Elms (Laura Filkins), Michael Elms (Trista) and Alex Elms; his grandchildren, Ellie, Piper, Chance, Maverick, Leif, Ben, Jonny, Tommy and Charlotte; his sisters, Diana and Darlene; and his stepmother Donna Elms.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Relief Society Room Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (3224 Woodlawn Rd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (3224 Woodlawn Rd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Millville-Nibley Cemetery (310-325 E 100 N, Millville, UT 84326).
