He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolphus Joyner and Lula Carter Joyner; and his brothers, Donald Joyner and George Joyner. He is survived by: his daughters, Pamela Collins (Michael) and Kathryn Williams (Ken) of Rocky Mount; his grandchildren, Travis Robinson, Maelyn McIntyre (Cameron), Joshua Robinson (Julie) and Bryson Williams (Randi); his great grandchildren, Ryland Robinson, Ayden Robinson, Mackenzie McIntyre, Chase McIntyre, River Williams, Hudson Williams and Nora Robinson; and his siblings, Margery Wester (Bernice), Judy Bunn (Mike), Delilah Smith of Rocky Mount, Bobby Joyner (Becky) and William Joyner (Liz) of Rocky Mount.
