Johnny Lee Lewis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Lee Lewis of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, who passed away on July 19, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Berry and Gusta Mosely Lewis; and his siblings, Ronnie Lewis, Bennett Lewis and Kay Rose.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle; his son-in-law Spencer Batchelor; his grandchildren, Jenna of Elm City and Ryan Batchelor of Elm City; his brothers, Pete Lewis (Lesa) of Marshville, NC and Jimmy Lewis (Linnie) of Rocky Mount; and his stepson Jeffery Batts (Amy) of Spring Hope. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (100 S Church St, Rocky Mount, NC 27804).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be mailed to First United Methodist Church or made through their website fumcrm.org, designated to "Backpack Buddies" or "Monday Morning Breakfast", two ministries that he faithfully supported.
