He was predeceased by: his grandmother Peggy Winstead. He is survived by: his parents, John Allen Owens (Becky) and Jean Michelle Winstead; his sister Allyson Jade Owens; his grandparents, Michael Winstead, Melvin and Bonnie Owens; his aunt Melissa Daniels (Ray); and his uncles, Chris Owens (Jackie) and Jamie Owens (Tonya).
