He is survived by: his wife Sharon Duigou-Brooking; his children, Brandi Wood (Bryan) of Indiana, Joshua Brooking (Kacie) of Indiana and Jeremy Brooking of South Carolina; his stepchildren, Angel Pedro of Havelock, Gwendolyn Rice-Smith of New Bern, Stephanie Wilmoth (Larry) of Ohio and William Rice, II of Ohio; and his siblings, Belinda Koch (Jim) of Indiana, Debra Northard (Richard) of Indiana, Melissa Burns Lebanon of Indiana, Pat Brooking (Karen) of Indiana and Ray Brooking (Pam) of Tennessee. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
