He is survived by: his children, Joseph Sherwood "Eugene" Porter (Shawn), Lorrin Elizabeth Porter and Alicia Carol Porter; his grandson Jordan Wesley Porter; his sister Ann Porter Thomas (Jerry); his sisters-in-law, Angela Casey (Morgan) and Germaine Dunn (Mike); and his friends, Floyd Groome and Jason Jones. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
