He was predeceased by: his parents, Turner Battle Bunn, Jr. of Wilson, NC. and Catherine Eagles Bunn of Wilson, NC.. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Mercer Bunn of Wilson, NC; his brothers, Frederick Moye Bunn (Gina) and Turner Battle Bunn, III (Sarah); his children, Joseph Eagles Bunn, Jr. and Anne Davis Richards (Rob); and his grandsons, Colin Eagles Bunn, Davis Thorton Bunn and Frederick Battle Richards.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to American Cancer Society or St. Timothy's Episcopal Church.
