Joyce Barnes Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Barnes (Rocky Mount, North Carolina), who passed away on April 19, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Proctor and Myrtie Proctor; her husband James R. Barnes; and her siblings, Earl, Michael Proctor, Vivian Sellers and Agnes Proctor.

She is survived by: her children, Philip W. Barnes (Brenda Farmer) of Nashville, Shirley Barnes McLaughlin of Nashville and Rhonda B. Brown (Tracy) of Nashville; and her grandchildren, James Adam McLaughlin of Pennsylvania and Donna Brown of Spring Hope. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
