She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Briley of Rocky Mount, NC, Sharon Carignan of Manteo, NC, David Bowden (Peggy) of Rocky Mount, NC and Richard Bowden (Brenda) of Rocky Mount, NC; her grandchildren, Kevin Bowden of Forney, TX, Craig Bowden of Rocky Mount, NC, David R. Bowden of Rocky Mount, NC, Braxton Bowden (Kennedy) of Rocky Mount, NC, Daniel Bowden (Jennifer) of Rocky Mount, NC, Susan Briley of Rocky Mount, NC, Amanda Whitaker of Rocky Mount, NC, Amanda Carignan Midgett (Daniel) and Neil Stephen Carignan, Jr. (Kate) of Nags Head, NC; and her great grandchildren, Fletcher Bowden, Bronson Bowden, Scott Bowden, Ryan Bowden and Everett Neil Carignan. She is also survived by great-grandsons, and three great-great-grandchildren.
