He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Gibson Waring, Jr. and Edna Lee Stuart Waring; and his brother Frank "Bub" Waring, III. He is survived by: his wife Roberta "Bobbie" Bostrom Waring; his children, Melanie Waring of Nashville, Jason Waring, Sr. of Nashville and Patrick Duggan (Lynda) of Nolensville, TN; his grandchildren, Jason Waring, Jr., Jay Kobe Waring, Kristen Pridgen, Shazel Waring, Kenidrin Waring, Makhii Waring, Ethan Duggan, Evan Duggan and Samuel Duggan; and his siblings, Fred Waring (Norma), Margaret Holden (John) and Lee "Bitsy" Marske. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ken's memory to Trinity Lutheran Church, 433 S. Winstead Ave., Rocky Mount, NC 27804.
