He is survived by: his wife Nancy Cannon Thorpe; his daughter Candace Lee Thorpe; his siblings, Judy Jones (Bobby), Michael Thorpe (Shannon) and Paul Thorpe, Jr. (Nancy Hazelwood); his uncle Henry Harper; and his aunt Ida Harper. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
