It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Linda G. Hall (Rocky Mount, North Carolina), who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Sidney Lawson Sims and Willerdean "Dean" Hatcher Sims McKellar; her former life partner William Jennings Godfrey, Sr. (Douglas Hall); her son Billy Steven Godfrey; and her sisters, Sidney Ann Sims Gattis and Jeanette Sims Dickey.
She is survived by : her son William "Skip" Jennings Godrey, Jr. (Lorraine); and her sisters, Gayle Sims Henry (Marshall) and Ellen Sims Bivins. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
