She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Taylor and Edna Taylor; her grandsons, Nick Snow and Daniel Robert Atlas Joyner; and her brother Leslie Taylor.
She is survived by: her husband Atlas Joyner; her children, Kimberly Joyner of Nashville, Cornelia Snow (Joseph) of Spring Hope, Kevin Joyner of Elm City and Michael Joyner of Edgecombe; her grandchildren, Josh Snow, Taylor Snow, Kenzie Snow, Jala Parks, Dawn Parks, Destiney Parks, Christopher Parks and Rockeem Parks; and her siblings, Glenda Marlow of Pine Tops, Ann Marlow (Jimmy) of Rocky Mount, Marsha Jones of Rocky Mount, Ellen Davis (Ricky) of Pine Tops, Lenwood Taylor (Cornelia) of Elm City and Russel Taylor (Lisa) of Pine Tops. She is also survived by her two great-grandchildren.
