She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Christopher Bland and Callie Brady Bland; her siblings, Kathleen Riddick, Dellavenia Kimmons, Thelma Maxine Burkhart, Nancy Dover, Elmer Charles Bland, Daniel Estill Bland, Harold Eugene Bland, Joseph Furman Bland and Jerry Dean Bland; and her son Ronald James Hall.
She is survived by: her husband Alton Arris Oakley of Rocky Mount; her son Christopher Arris Oakley (Lacey L. Gray) of Winterville; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Nevins Hall of Beaumont, Texas; and her grandchildren, Callie Hall Orr (Jonathan Orr) of Rhode Island and Jake Tanner Oakley Hall of Beaumont, Texas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1130 N Winstead Ave, Rocky Mount, NC 27804).
