She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Alfred Thomas Ayscue and Hazel Buchanan Ayscue. She is survived by: her son Brandon "Chase" Phillips (Giovanna) of Wendell; her sister Deborah "Debbie" Creech of Rocky Mount; her grandsons, Isaac Phillips and Jordan Phillips; her aunt Ellie Collins; and her uncle Thomas Buchanan (Grace). She is also survived by nephews, cousins and friends.
