He was predeceased by: his parents, William Jordan Taylor, Sr. and Thelma Lewis Taylor; his wife Barbara Staley Taylor; and his siblings, William Jordan Taylor, Jr., James "Jimmy" Taylor, Hazel Moore and Virginia Perry.
He is survived by: his children, Roxanne Taylor, Vickie Taylor and Louis Jerome "Jerry" Taylor, Jr. (Tammy); his grandchildren, Ashley Ammons (Ira), Melanie Craft, Stephanie Taylor (Josh), John Taylor (Niki) and Patrick Taylor (Brittany); and his siblings, Doreatha Taylor and Horace Ray Taylor. He is also survived by his 19 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Louis "Jerome" Taylor 's name.
