She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Dawes II and Effie Johnson Dawes. She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Nobles and Phyllis Waller of Tarboro, NC; and her stepchildren, Rosa Bullock of Fayetteville, GA, Janice Williams of Pinetops, NC, Mary Newkirk of Wilson, NC, David Ray Jones of Greensboro, NC and Sammy Williams of Yeadon, PA. She is also survived by three grandchildren, fifteen step-grandchildren, and twenty step -great-grandchildren.
