He is survived by: his mother Barbara Edwards Hinton of Nashville, NC; his son Major Earl Edwards, Jr. of Laurinburg, NC; his grandchildren, Majahniik Edwards of Buffalo, NY, Zamaria Edwards of Bunn, NC and Major Earl Edwards, III of Bunn, NC; his siblings, Wanda Dawson (Martin) of Spring Hope, NC, Patricia Edwards of Raleigh, NC, Katrina Golden (Stephan) of Raleigh, NC, Johnnie Williams (Angela) of Louisburg, NC and Tanisha Clemons of Spring Hope, NC; his niece Alexis Dawson; his nephew Johnnie "JJ" Williams, Jr.; and his close friend Sylvia. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rocky Chapel Baptist Church (988 Sykes Rd, Louisburg, NC 27549). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
