She was predeceased by: her son Ernest Lee Staton; her siblings, William Hines, Johnny Hines, Walter Edward Peoples and Grandison Peoples III; her grandsons, Quanteds, Andrews and Bruce Staton, Jr.; and her great grandchild Traveon Bullock.
She is survived by: her children, James Staton (Gwendolyn), Mamie Staton, Milton Staton, Cynthia Andrews and Bruce Staton; and her sister-in-law Cathy Peoples. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relative and friends.
