She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Green Harrison, Sr. and Nannie Meredith Harvell Harrison; her husband Elisha Thomas "Tom" Joyner; her son Jeffrey Dean Joyner; and her siblings, Virginia Harrison Baker (J. D.), Lela Harrison Morris, Phillip Green Harrison, Jr. and James Thomas Harrison.

She is survived by: her son Michael Thomas "Mike" Joyner; her niece Mitzi Treimann; Elise Sykes, Irby, Mary Pope, Gail Acree and Julia Duke. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mickey's name to the Nash County Senior Center, Caregiver Program, 103 N. Alston Street, Nashville, NC 27856.
