He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Mathison and Merry Mathison; and his sister Merry Lynn Irving. He is survived by: his wife Toni Mathison; his children, Ashley Rinell (Nick) and Joe Mathison (Samantha); his granddaughter Lorelai Rinell; his sister Becky Smith; and his pets, Luna and Walnut.
