It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Moore Billups (Rocky Mount, North Carolina), born in Halifax, North Carolina, who passed away on November 3, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Paul "A. P." Moore, Jr. and Frances Lerlene Simons Moore; her husband Rev. Douglas W. Billups; and her sister Barbara M. Cooley. She is survived by: her children, Christopher Douglas Billups (Jamie) and Kimberly Billups Taylor (Jamie); her grandchildren, Wil Taylor, Erin Taylor and Greyson Billups; her stepgrandchildren, Cody Joyner, Emily Stroud and Sidney Langley; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Ellie and Tobi; and her brother Paul Wayne Moore. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
