It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max Baptista of Rocky Mount, North Carolina, who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 18, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfather Dave Baptista; his great-grandparent Donald Baptista; and his aunts, Michelle Coley and Heidi Blankshain. He is survived by: his parents, Denise Baptista and Christopher Tann of Rocky Mount; his sister Makenzi Baptista; his grandmother Mary Jane Pierce (Alvin Evans) of Rocky Mount; and his aunts and uncles, Venice Richards of Florida, Helen Blankshain of Rocky Mount, Jason Barkley (Amber) of New York and David Baptista of New York. He is also survived by many cousins, friends and other extended relatives.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the NorthSide Church (1660 Beaver Pond Dr, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). A reception will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
