She was predeceased by: her parents, George Williams of Washington and Minnie Lou Hudson Williams; her husband William Rudolph "Rudy" Teague; and her siblings, Winona Williams, Grace Williams, Virginia Williams, Lonnie Williams, George Williams and David Williams.

She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Teague Bates (Michael J.) of Annapolis, MD and Shearin Teague Cox of Rocky Mount; her grandchildren, Will Bates, Margaret Bates, Katie Bates, Amy Cox Dexter and Amanda Cox Lesher; and her great grandchildren, Hayden Dexter, Parker Dexter, Ben Dexter, Joey Lesher, Alyssa Lesher and Logan Bates. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
