He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Parker and Bessie Worrell Parker; his wife Nancy Currin Parker; and his siblings, Maxine Bobbit, Margaret Pepper, Josephine Warren, J. T. Parker and Lloyd Parker.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Parker (Kristy), Brenda Burne and Pam Mikow (Chuck); and his grandson Brian Burne. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (661 English Rd, Rocky Mount, NC 27804).
