She is survived by: her children, Katherine Kendal Allen Smith (John Bryan) of Seattle, WA and Kenneth Lane Allen, Jr. (Mary Margaret) of Charlotte, NC; and her grandsons, Henry Allen Smith, Kenneth Lane Allen III, William Turner Allen and Thomas Carson Allen.
