He is survived by: his children, Melanie Dugan Strickland (Keith) of Rocky Mount and Mark Dugan of Rocky Mount; his grandchildren, Jessica Strickland Hannah Strickland of Rocky Mount, Sarah Dugan and Brandee Dugan Kruse (Branden) of Wisconsin; his great grandchild Wrenlee Kruse; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn West of Florida and Reed Anderson of Virginia.
