She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lex Williamson and Magdalene Lynette Klapp Williamson; and her husband Jerry Lowe Briggs. She is survived by: her daughters, Jacqueline "Jackie" Briggs Norville (Terry) of Rocky Mount and Lisa Briggs Ward (Steve) of Battleboro; her grandchildren, Grayson Norville Blake (Brooks) of Winterville, Amanda Norville of Jacksonville, Matthew Ward (Lauren) of Rocky Mount and Adam Ward (Carey) of Wilson; and her great grandchildren, Jackson Rattew, Cannon Ward, Mixon Ward, James Ward and Molly Ward. She is also survived by many extended family members and dearest friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home (1130 N Winstead Ave, Rocky Mount, NC 27804). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Wheeler & Woodlief Funeral Home and Cremation Services (1130 N Winstead Ave, Rocky Mount, NC 27804).
